Episode 51: A Treat For You
Hey all you Wayward Lasses and Lads! It’s the end of the month and what better way to end the month than to dress up for Halloween! The Lasses used their creative talents and painted their faces using paint and makeup to make a mask of their choice. Listen in as they get to work. Episode 49: Day of the Dead and Other Traditions
Many of the holidays we celebrate have deeply-rooted traditions. The U.S. holiday, Halloween, has its roots in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, where people lit bonfires and wore costumes to ward off ghosts to welcome the harvest at the end of summer. We can trace the earliest roots of the Day of the Dead holiday to the Aztec people who used skulls to honor the dead. Listen in as the Lasses continue the Halloween / Fall theme as they share some October / November holidays celebrated around the world.

Episode 40: Female Gamers
The ratio of man to woman gamers was perceived to be in favor of men. Statistically speaking, the difference is not that big. Since 2008, the percentage of female gamers hasn’t fallen under 40%. (PlayToday, July 2022) So, almost half of the gamers in over ten years have been women. And according to the 2021 gamer demographics, the gaming gender of 45% of the gamers in the US is female. Proudly, the Lasses contribute to that percentage. Listen in as the Lasses talk about the video games they play, the flack they may hear for being a female gamer, and some advice if you want to break into the video gaming world.
